A March Through Time is a powerful exhibition that brings George McCalman’s celebrated, NAACP Image Award-winning book Illustrated Black History to life. Through visual storytelling, the exhibition challenges the narrative of Black history, presenting new perspectives that uncover the depth, complexity, and truth of Black experiences.
The 10 city traveling show, presented in partnership with the Museum of the African Diaspora, will define our concept of the interconnectivity of time and our pioneering Black stewards of our society.
George represents the mandate of Impact Global, an artist inspired by the call of nature's lessons and patterns to produce work shaped by his curiosity about human identity.
These stories are not just Black history—they are global history. They are part of the collective narrative that has shaped our world. The exhibition reclaims overlooked histories and invites audiences to understand the full scope of our shared human experience. We are not a niche.
